Hi people.

Thinking about such a nice (and visible) car mkaes me nervous for when I park it somewhere out of sight.

On my bike, I put an alarm with proximity sensor and digital pager (2 miles range).

I wonder if the S4 factory alarm has any proximity sensor ?

IF NOT, how hard would it be to add it ?

Or even, is there any BETTER alarm for it ?

What about a pager ?

Hey it's no biggie .

What I REALLY worry (with the car) is the jaelous moron keying my paint, that's all.

Having a proximity sensor would at least make other people look.

Makes sense ?

Now, what about answering my question (you have an S4 don't you?) ?

1. It's only an Audi.
2. Depending on where you live they are somewhat common.
3. If you don't want to get keyed, don't **** people off. Don't cut off, flash or act like hot stuff. Some people are crazy enough to follow you and key you when you leave.
4. Don't take 2 or 3 parking spaces when you park.
5. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. And god forbid, if it does, it's only a car.
6. What is a pager/alarm going to do? Page you to kindly notify your car is being violated. And like you are really going to get there in time to do something about it. Not really worth it.

I only have liability on the bike, so if it's gone is MY money.

I found out something I can rig, with pager 100 bucks

God forbids any of you ever get their car stolen or towed, 200 bucks would have been peace of mind heh.<p>Jose
