a milltek exhaust and ABT chip? I was thinking of getting new springs to fix that mighty gap and getting an ABT chip and maybe a TIP chip... or possibly a Giac X chip with TIP chip.
But I definately want a Miltek exhaust and a chip and springs...
What kind of 1/4 mile times would I be seeing if I took my TIP avant to the track?

and that guy (NASA) didn't have an exhaust either(i know...miniscule differnce)...and it was a warm day...and he does not have the best 60' time for tips either from some info i've seen (not sure as to the accuracy of it). I think lower than 13.887(IIRC NASA's time) is possible may be possible with race gas, a cool day, a fast track, light weight wheels, removed spare, tires pumped up higher pressure than usual...

his post said it was a very cool day on 100 octane with a perfect track and no spare.
I know the A6 he ran with is still trying to break into the 13s even with an X-chip and exhaust and aftermarket wheels.
But I'm not saying it's impossible, just that if cars are having that much time getting 13s under perfect conditions, the likelyhood is that low 14s is a more realistic expectation...and an Avant IS heavier than a Sedan and that does make a little bit of difference.

That means he has been stuck on 14.0 for over a year...btw a cool day in Socal califronia is still a warm day elsewhere...i think someone said the car's most efficient right around mid 30s to mid 40s....under 30 the ECU cuts boost suppossedly...we'll see...the thing is i only remember reading about a handful of tips actually making it to the track..
