Default S4 Timing

Follow up to my <A href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/952001.phtml" target="_blank">MAF values post</A>...

Is there a problem with the timing in my S4 and what would be the likely causes?

<B>stock timing under boost</B> -- Looks good... seems to stay in the 5-10 degrees advanced range under boost:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/42712/stock_timing.jpg">
<B>stock timing under boost</B> -- Not so good... drops to negative timing when boost increases:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/42712/chipped_timing.jpg">

<B>Stock &amp; Chipped Timing vs. RPM</B> -- Over 4K RPM, chipped timing goes negative:

Anyone have any thoughts?

Default More info...

These logs are from hot weather (~88 degrees) and fuel was Sunoco Ultra 94.

I've seen identical results running Sunoco 94 from a different gas station as well as similar results on Mobil 93 octane. Some of the other runs were done in cooler temps (mid 70's), but that didn't seem to change anything. Results were similar to the above graphs.

Chip is APR v3.2, 93 octane program.

Default Air temp & fuel info provided above...

I'm not sure which gears the logs I posted show --I think they were 1 through 3/4, but the timing drop is visible in all gears when under boost.

It's hard to make sense of this when you log it this way. Try logging starting in 3rd (or 4th if you have room) at about 2K RPM and go WOT to redline. Then plot Timing versus RPM. I have several you can compare to, some in my picture poster I think.
