S4 vs M3
last night my friends and I went crusing.
Among us 4, we have my 2001.5 S4 (APR chipped only atm), 2002 Maxima (he did a bunch to his car), 1997 M3 (he also did a bunch to his car, including changing his original 318i engine, yes, his car was originally a 94 318i, but he changed a bunch including the engine, plus NOS), and a 2003 CL55 AMG.
Ok, the CL55 is the fastest among us, stock 12.4 sec quarter mile. It is a very sweet car! V8 super charged... and yes, it cost 145 big G.
Before we went race other people, we have a little fun between my s4 and maxima. I lead about 3 cars.
Between my s4 and M3 (fully modded, without NOS), I lead about 4-5 cars.
But when he starts to shoot NOS (50 lbs), I am no challenge to him on 3rd gear. 1st gear, I lead about 1-1.5 cars. 2nd gear, I wasn't able to pull from him. 3rd gear, he passed me up, and go bye-bye.
I guess it is now time to go change my DP and CAT, maybe I will run a little closer to him.
BTW, just to give you an idea how fast his E36 w/ NOS, he pull even with 03 E46.
We had fun that's for sure. We get to watch, SS vs CL55 AMG. Turbo Boost F350 4x4 diesel truck w/ propane (got this sweet JET sound from his exhaust, I thought we were in a airport ready to board) vs CL55 vs SS. A modded 280Z is surely a suprising fast car. A lousy loser who drives a turbo charged Integra. And a 9 sec 94 SUPRA (boy, this car is fuking fast!!!) Yes, 9 seconds... that is just amazing!
