Default S4 vs M3 Help

I have a friend who is looking to purchase a new car and can't decide between the two. If you had a choice between the two which way should he go if money was not an option. I have been trying to talk him into an S4 but haven't been able to get the job done. Any help would be appreciate but please cut back on the wise cracks I always get. They make me laugh to much.

Get a C32. Faster than the M3, and ya don't gotta shift

Default I am not convinced your friend is a real car enthusiast. He may want to consider the new Mercedes

AMG C32. More power than either and it comes in an auto. I thought the old C43 AMG was a nice car for someone with similar demands.

Default Hum, C32 faster than M3-May Automobile tested both and got 0-60-5.2...

Of coarse both numbers are off, the M3 is capable of 4.7 Come on shifting is half the fun

Default I agree, but if the person is a regular driver (non-enthusiast) then he may want to check

out the Mercedes. Personally, I would never consider the car. 8-)

The S4 gives the best combination of comfort and speed.

Default Automobile is also the same great magazine who said we have "sequential turbos" :P

And, magazine times pretty much mean squat. Saw varying numbers on the C43.

Default M3 is the better car (only RS4 competes with it)

Lets start today's therapy session by having you say together as a group, "my s4 is outdated, my s4 is outdated". Guys/gals the S4 is a sweeeet car but it's not an E46M3. I have an idea, I challenge anyone here to produce ONE magazine review that compares your S4 to the new M3.... Heck the M3 beat the RS4 in the mags and I don't see you guys saying a S4 beats a RS4?? I can produce recent articles comparing the M3 (which wins) against the CLK55, 911 and RS4. Can anyone here produce an S4 vs ANY of those cars article????? There's a reason for that you know.

The S must stand for stubborn :-)
