I've decided on these tires, but should they be in 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 or even 235/35/18? TIA, I really appreciate the advice.

Default Ideally: 225/40 but if you want a little more protection, 235/40 is OK. I would go 235/40...
...because the Falken tires in general run a bit narrow, especially in the 19s.

curious: how much taller side wall on 235/40 from 225 40? ...and is 235/35 way too low pro.?

Default If the tires are a bit narrow, go for the 235/40's for sure...
...I've gotten by with 235/40-18's in "wide" Pilot Sports, S-03's and Eagle F1 GS-D3's on my 18x8 ET35 wheels.

Default my S-03's were over 1/2" wider than Falken 451's (225/40/18) ...is the side wall "actually" ....
from "225" or from the REAL width? ...haven't compared side wall diffs.
