S8 wheel update.... They weigh only 27.3lbs (12.4kilos)
I was pretty surprised to find out that the 18x8" avus wheels weigh the same (or even a bit less) than our 17x7.5" wheels!
Also, this version of the S8 wheel has a offset of 48mm. This I believe is teh equivalent of our wheels+ a 5mm spacer! So If my calculations are correct these should fit good!

S8 wheels are essentially in appearance a chrome version of our wheels correct?

Much lighter than I thought...
I could be wrong but our stock S4 wheels are ET45. With a 5mm spacer, it would make our offset effectively ET40. The S8 wheel with ET48 would be 3mm inwards.

An earlier post had me worried ...
... that said the 17x7.5 Avus weighed 27 lb.
I had weighed my S8 wheels on an electronic scale and got 27 lb (the scale doesn't show 10th's), and I thought my scale might be broken.
BTW, the 20x9 HRE also weighs 27 lb, as does the original 245/45-18 Dunlop SP8000. The 255/35-20 S-03 weighs 31 lb; darn, that's a heavy tire.
