Default now this one fits the trunk perfectly - yours appears to just be a rectangular box

Default BUT.....mine is removable if need be, the one you have seems to be "Married" to the car!

That's why I never favor crazy systems that block out the trunk space, especially in our S4's because we have the ability to fold the seats down to carry large cargo or for long skis, etc.....

Default true true. I've had large, non-married boxes stolen in the past - so I wasn't gonna let that happen

Of course, anything can be taken, it's just a matter of making it take longer....

Cargo net D-ring tie-dows removed, this bolted in it's place:

<img src="http://ctny.a4.org/mark/a4/system/new/mvc501f.jpg">

8 of these T-nuts and hex key bolts around each sub:

Rings held in place with square-drive screws:

And the reason I still have these speakers is because the previous box they were in, in a different car, was bolted through the bottom of the car. They tried to use a crowbar to remove it, but to no avail - I win. I also had a fake front on my stereo system (CD & EQ) just like I did on my A4, and that's why those weren't stolen either.

Default whoa.....here are some comments.....

Gotta admit that box looks sweet and also pretty solid with the bolts.

but....

What's with the gap in the radio on the sides??? The fake faceplate idea is cool but you gotta do something about those gaping holes!

Default Agreed. I never got around to finishing it before I sold the car/stereo. The stereo...

I sold the system to NickN, and installed it in his car. He has a 99.5, so the single-din stereo. So, here's how I mounted the stuff in his car....
