I was hoping some of you 2.7T gods could help me out. I've installed a bipipe and Samco hose kit on a my 2.7T A6. I'm running into fitment issues with the driver's side upper boost hose (the one just after the intake Y pipe (see picture). The little hose that connects onto to the DV is too short by about 1 inch. I've double checked my install and everything appears to be installed correctly. I just can't connect the DV. Has anyone else run into this issue?
On a side note....what would happen if I reversed the DV orientation so the vacuum fitting is facing upwards? This position would allow me to connect the hose. Weird, I know, but it works.

1 inch is a lot. Are you using the little DV hoses that came with the bi-pipe? I can't remember, but maybe they are longer than the Samco/stock ones.

some may argue the mechanics of piston/diaphragm movent in relation to vacuum and bipass pressure. There are plenty of dicussions on this topic on TFA.
