Default Saw the Dumbest thing while driving yesterday

I was driving North on 95 towards Ft. Lauderdale and i saw 2 cars driving rather close too each other in the right lane. At further inspection it seems they were connected by a rope. The rope looked like rock climbing gear and was about 1 inch wide. At first I assumed the first car was towing the second but there were drivers in both and they were both driving, there was slack in the rope at times. At one point the rear car got too slow and got jerked right in a very violent motion (imagine 80mph attached to another car). I have never seen something so unsafe in my life. Oh except all the morons in florida that ride motorcycles without helmets.

Default Talking about dumb things, has anyone noticed how many people drive while...

reading. How busy of a life do you have to have for that to happen? And I'm not talking about in stop and go traffic. It happens while their cars are at speed. I see this about once every other day. Men/women, it doesn't matter. Totally crazy!

Motorcycle riders without helmets? Texas is probably #1 in that category.

There has to be 2 drivers. If the first car brakes, the second has to brake too or they'd hit!!

Coming back from the waterfest I saw one car pushing another at over 65mph! Unbelievable.

Default Yes, and it infuriates me. Remember what happened to Joe Pesci and his brother in Casino?

Let's just say I've got a corn field waiting for the day I lose a loved-one to a good article in Upside Magazine.

Default Saw father towed son with a rope a few days ago...

in stop-and-go traffic. Needless to say, the son did not stop on time and there were quite a bit of damages to both cars. The towed car gushed out coolant all over.

The look on their faces said it all.

Default Tow car should never brake, the driver of the towed car has two jobs, be alert, and brake.

The towed car will get stinky brakes after a few miles of stop and go though
