allright you experts.. chime in...

correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming the secondary fan should only run when the coolant temps are spiking higher ... it should not run when, say, the car is cold and first started.. right ?

or during after run cooling because I have the lower temp switch. I have an EFK that replaces the main fan with a manual switch that I use in traffic and town. The third fan is mostly turned on with the AC system. It is possible to have all 3 running at the same time.

I figgered you were not around as I had sent you a couple of emails.. guess they didn't make it or something...

Anyway... the secondary fan ran on cold start this morning, so it sounds like it is the culprit (I'm hoping)... I've had "issues" with my Bentley (I detailed it in an email to you), so I don't have access to it.. is there a specific relay for the secondary fan ? I know where the relays are as I've remove the DRL relay on my car (I WILL decide when my frickin' lights are on !), just to lazy at the present to go in there without knowing that there is a relay or not (i'm guessing there is as you asked if I've checked it).

You could probably see the gillion posts about gas mileage. Anyway, I got your e-mails, but I don't have internet at the house and I can't access my home e-mail from work (stupid security crap) so that's why I haven't responded. Post on the forum and see if anyone knows the relay and where it is, or if it is like my V8q and it has a fusible link; my bet is relay, though.
We're getting closer, man; I told you that I'd help you figure it out.
