I just could not get the VM3 to fit right. Went to 2 different shops to have it installed and could not get it to fit right it would still rub on the rear control arm. the Tec at UUC said that the people were not putting the system together correctly. COME ON!!!Switching to Milltek looking for opinions on this system. Fitment problems etc.
Thank you.
Thank you.

But, the Milltek dual suffers similar problems with fitment. The dual pipes use allot of space, so I hear the fitment on it can be a PITA. But it is a nice exhaust. The 3inch Miltek fits better, but the clamps that come with it suck.
What are you looking for in an exhaust? Those two selections in exhausts are completely opposite: VM3 - one of the Loudest Duals vs. one of the quietest duals Milltek.
I got the 3inch Miltek, and after having stock, the Borla, Bruellen, VM3, custom 3inch, I am finally pleased with the final decision: Miltek 3inch. I'd go with the dual, but it's not even worth it (as an "upgrade") IMHO.

Loved the sound, but the SD fits so much better, sound is pretty nice - its louder outside then in the cabin...ticked me off because I waited MONTHS for the VM to come in

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1310657.phtml</a

The last thing I want to do is waste more cash on something that does not fit.Do you think I'm better off with my stock exhaust. I can get a cat back system from Dahalback racing its like 1600 installed. I want something that fits right maybe gives me a little more HP and that sounds good. The VM3 was too loud for me. I would rather have a stealth system.

a bunch of us tack welded it at the DP connection for insurance...in addition to the clamps.
I dont recall what recommendations were make on the clamps....search the archives SiR!
