Okay, am I completely insane (well...maybe), or was the service interval, especially the first service supposed to be at 8k??? I have 6200 on mine and it's STILL IN THE SHOP....getting the transmission done, and my mom talked to them yesterday and told her that I was overdue for the service and they are doing it.

Am I crazy?

If you have been regularly changing oil (every 4k) and notice no specific problems, you should be fine if you happen to miss it.
