Default She's Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picked up my car about half an hour ago from the body shop. Paint job looks perfect.

Short shifter is way out of alignment. I wonder if Mr Hedin can come over this weekend and fix it? :-)

So about 60 seconds after leaving the body shop, the car throws a CE. :-(

16839 - EVAP System: Large Leak Detected
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
(OK, they detailed the car, so they probably did the old start, turn off, start, move, turn off, start, move, turn off.) Guess I should check the gas cap....

Then the ABS controller threw:
18265 - Load Signal: Error Message from ECU
I have no idea what that means

Then the instrument controller threw:
01314 Engine Control Modile - 49-10 No Communications
Maybe that's from all the engine work?

And finally the radio:
00855 - Connection to CD changer - no communications
Well, I took out my PhatBox before shipping it off to the body shop.

Ironically, the body shop owner told me he took it to a dealer yesterday to reset the ECU and clear codes. (Hello Mr Body Shop, you should meet Mr Uwe Ross!)

Default Tracks straight as an arrow, boost here, there and everywhere

I just need to fix the shifter because that really annoys me. Not the body shop's fault, though. They removed the tranny but I would never expect them to know how to adjust a short shifter, nor would I want them to do that adjustment.

Default Schweet! Congrats!!

By the sounds of things...they left a hose disconnected in the engine bay (evap line). I wouldn't worry about the misfires...get it out on the highway and open it up...see if it clears up after 1/2 hour. The other two codes sound like they could be disconnected wiring harnesses, but I really have no idea.

Default Yeah, I get the misfires when I wash the car sometimes

I openned it up on the blue route and it seemed quite happy.

So, do you want to fix my short shifter? I'll have Jon make you lunch. :-D

Default 16K...DYOS4 wins with his "at least 15K" estimate

Maybe I should send him the headlight washer.
