shock-only advice, please?
Hi All,
I STFA'd, but couldn't find a whole lot of advice on replacement shocks (not shock/spring, nor c/o) for a 2001.5 Avant with stock springs and Neuspeed 19mm rear (soft); seems a somewhat obscure topic. Have 90k+, and getting floaty/bouncy.
Would like somewhat stiffer than stock, and main contenders look to be Bilstein HD and Koni Sports. Any others? Any recommended sources?

Stock shocks are effective for about 20k miles with sport springs
my car, (with stock shocks and H&R springs) is due for example! which is why I will be upgrading my entire suspension by the end of this year. It is best to either get just shocks, shocks/matched springs, and if you want the best of the best and can afford them get a complete set of Stasis(Ohlins) or Penske coilovers.
