Default Short Shifter Install
I remember reading about the tanoga and its spacers. Someone mentioned trying this on a uuc. But I can't remember the results. Could someone refresh my memory, please? Also, how big are the spacers?

You have to loosen the front all the way in order to drop it down enough to remove them

Default if you take off the 4 (10 mm) nuts, the whole plastic shifter box drops

then the whole assembly drops down and all 4 torx 20's are easily accessed

Simple


this baffled me too until I saw the tanoga pics

Also, using T-20 bit (screw is actually T-25) helps with angle if that's a problem.
