Default Was just in your boat and went with Tanoga - glad I did...

I had driven a couple UUC's and all felt pretty notchy (some effort or difficulty engaging gears, especially reverse.)

Drove a Stratmosphere on an A4 and it felt really nice. Had heard really good things about the Tanoga and decided to go that way, especially when AWE had a group buy. I'm really glad I did. It feels very similar to the one Stratmosphere I drove.

I also did the install myself paying careful attention to the instructions included with it and the ones I downloaded of the RS4 site. It was relatively easy and I'm not terribly mechanically inclined.

However, I had heard that whatever SS you choose, good installation is the most important factor.

If I had to do it over again, I would go with the Tanoga, though.

Hope this helps.
