Audi already put in a built in afterrun system. STFA.

Isn't that just for coolant though? I thought the oil cooled the turbos?

oil primarily lubricates the turbos, coolant cools them

Default Do you have enough discipline to let the car idle for a few seconds before turning it off?

Make that as long as 30 seconds if the turbos have just gotten a workout?

If yes, then you do not need a turbo timer.

If no, then you might be a candidate for one.

Default I just turn the car off. Never had problems.

I figured the car has the built it afterrun system. If it really needed to use it, it would. I do have the low temp thermoswitch for my fan but no turbo timer.

Default I love mine. I am always in a hurry and I can turn the car off without guilt

knowing that the turboes are cooling down properly.
