Default Should I install new pads when installing new rotors

I will be putting in Zimmerman drilled Rotors. Should I put new pads in at the same time ? My existing rotors are quite smooth and not grooved, so I guess the old pads are reasonbly smooth as well.

If I change the pads - what should I get for windy B roads and 150 mph highway use

Default No but I drive there quite often

Sadly there are very few stretches of Autobahn where there is no speed limit. The A555 between Bonn and Cologne still has no speed limit.

In some deserted parts of the Autostrada in Italy between Turin and Genoa, the road is straight as an arrow and empty, but not legal to go so fast.

In France where I live there has been a major crackdown on speeding :-(

Default Autostrade RULEZ, only place in the world when you can go into a turn with three cars at the same

time and all three cars move up one lane to hit the APEX.....

Btw, eventhough its illegal to speed on teh Autostrada, whilst doing 220 Km/H, still being passed by RS4's, Porsches and 206/VW GTI's.....

Default Indicated 260 kph on the clock,

Probably 250 kph for real before I chipped.

Waiting for a chance to see how fast with AMD chip and Miltek exhaust. Will bring along my GPS for true speed reading

Default awesome, however, quite the $$ with gas running about what, $6 a gallon orso ?!!??

there are sometimes that I really miss Europe, one of which being that I won't be able to make my S4 to its LEGAL limit , fastest I went on Autobahn was 250 Km/h in P-car and 205 GTI as built by Guttman....(with MI-16 engine)

Default Generally bedding is most effective when ...

new pads are bedded with seasoned rotors, and new rotors are seasoned with bedded pads. So no, you don't need new pads.

If you do get new pads, my personal preference for a high performance street pad is the Ferodo DS2500. AP Racing uses this in their brake kits, which from the company that dominates in F1 brake systems, is high praise.
