I just dropped off my S4 at the dealer due to a leak in the washer fluid reservoir and the service guy asked me if I wanted the 10,000 mile service. Without thinking I told him sure. Here is the potential problem, my chipped ECU is in the car right now along with a bunch of other obvious modifications. What is the potential downside here? Do you think they will even notice or check the ECU? If they find out about it will this cause problems for me and my car in the future? I swapped out the chipped ECU for the stock one for the last service check. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks.

It's a good thing that APR's chip cannot be seen by their computer. I hope they don't drive it?
Why would you take the car anywhere near Audi service w/ a non-stock ECU in it? I guess you could call them and tell them not to do the 10k service...

something though. So as long as you have started and shut off your car a bunch of times since you last put in the ECU, you should be fine. Unless they look because they're suspicious. My dealership always test drives my car so I guess they could figure it out when they realize how fast it is. Whether or not they care is a different story.

Unless there was aproblem due to the chip (does not sound like it) they will do the 10k service, and off you go.
They can not deny the 10k service due to discovering a chip. And, unless you have had the engine ligh on or other issues associated with the ecu, just try and enjoy the time away from your car!
