Default Is it silly to put a Tip Chip into a car with 98K miles?

Been just stage I for 60K miles now, and just getting around to the tip chip. but, is it stupid to do that to a 5 year old, 98K mile tranny?

Default car was always chipped and was on orig ko3s before it came to our shop

we did ko4s at 162K and stg3- software . next we did L10 TC and VB and fueling kit at 167K .

my last S4 , I did stg3 at 80k miles

Default this is good to know! I was worried about my tip going in a few thousand miles...

nice to hear that it should be good for quite some time more. but I think i'll finally get the tipchip.
