You would not have to worry about that Gary.
You don't brake late enough for that to happen :^P (J/K). Also, Brembo's and Stoptechs turn poopy brown when used hard. I would rather have the goldish bronze then poopy brown. Get Alcons and have them painted black, I believe the shop can have that done.

thats what i was gonna ask...sems like part of the pad is rubbing on the hats themselves..........

I know... I am just playing...
I was his instructor at Laguna last year and he does hustle the car around the track well and smoothly.
We just like to play around.... hell you rip on me all the time:^)

I'm going to go pout in the corner now.... :-(
My stoppies have yet to turn brown yet from red. And I MASH on mine...but they do fade. I was using Kerr Frictions, so I may try PFC 97's or Pagid Oranges before making the switch over to the almighty Aclons.
Damn depressed I didn't get to do Laguna. Hopefully I'll be at Fernley.
