Silver to Gold, Alcon technology shining through at the track...

Ummmm, I'm pretty darn aggressive. Especially when I had my Stg 3 Imola. With the
Avant I'm not quite there yet. Too afraid of breaking something. And now that I think a turbo is blown, I need to really baby it around. So maybe no Fernley either, unless Stasis will let me hitch a ride in the trailer back to Roseville from Reno! HAHA Cuz I know a turbo will go KABOOM! Plus I need to put some sways on.

I got meatballed twice in my Imola. They almost didn't let me go back out. So I had
to lift between 5 and 6. It sucked! Will have to do the same in the Avant when I get all my crap in.

Thanks for the kind words.... but I still have a long way to go.
First and foremost is not to crash my car:^). Then have fun and learn. Glad you had a good time and hopefully you can make it out to some events in the future. If so.... see you out there:^)

Get those Stoptech's brown:-)
My clutch is behaving oddly, somehow my K03's are still alive and they have been screaming for over 25k miles now. Might do RS4 turbos this weekend...
Being aggressive on street tires on the track and on track tires was a whole new ball game for me. I ran RA1's at the Thunder Hill event and refused to run without them at Laguna, now I need to buy some more. I never smoked the Alcons up on street tires, two events on RA1's and I came in multiple times with smoke coming off of them, ran through 1 1/2 sets of pads too, grip is the key!
Hope you get the wagon out there soon, I had a blast.
Cheers,

Yes, put washer(s) in between the mounting bracket and the caliper. I did the same thing
when my pads were hitting the hat. Each pad is cut differently and I think you may have some, like mine, that go a little further inboard. Washers fix the problem.
