The first left over leather cleaner/conditioner I had sitting around did not work. I have yet to try Lexol though, but am hesitant to because one poster a while back said it had a tendancy to darken light leathers. I have just now decided that I will untuck my shirt while I drive while wearing a particular belt -- a braided leather one seems to be the main if not only offender.

I forgot to ask if it actually discolored the leather or just kind of scuffed it up. I've never noticed any scuffing on any of my previous leather interiors. I was planning on using Lexol too but hadn't seen any posts about color darkening. Guess I need to do more research on leather products/treatments. Thanks for the info.
