Since all we have in CA now is 91 gas, what do people think about fuel additives that boost octane?

Default Since all we have in CA now is 91 gas, what do people think about fuel additives that boost octane?
how much difference do they really make, and is it not good to run on 91 for my car?

the only thing I would put in my car is 100 octane gas mixed with 91 octane, or go pure 100.

I've looked into all different kinds of snake oil, and I would have to agree - 100 octane only 4 me

best additive to use is mixing the 100 octane with the 91...

Anyone have the link to that octane mix matrix? e.g. xgal 100 + ygal 91 = (x+y)gal 95

its pretty much linear, 1/2 tank of 90 + 1/2 tank of 100 = full tank of 95.

100 octane is 91 with more "snake oil".
