Since, I'm not getting much help on the VAG forum, I'll ask here..........................
I can't get the Ross-Tech software to work. It is registered and the cable is a KEY-COM.
The port test in program options works perfect. I cant get to any of the control modules or anything else besides options and about. FWIW, I have an aftermarket alpine headunit (IVA-D900). Not sure if that matters but I've heard that may interfere with some things.(?)
