Default Actually, I looked into this, and some do classify as "forced induction"

I wouldn't have thought it either, but the sources I found define forced induction as "a mechanical system that adds a higher density of oxygen to the intake of an internal combustion engine", and they both classified nitrous as a form of forced induction. Links in post below...

But this is the first time I've heard it referred to a forced induction system...technically, I guess a case could be made that it is: the nitrous is under tremendous pressure in the tank, so it is "forcing" more oxygen into the chamber...

Thanks this is one of the books im speaking of they even make one for specifically for cars as well

Default I found it funny he quotes the entire definition of induction...

...but spells definition incorrectly. We done with this now?
