Default siren noise secondary air pump??
In the mornings I get a siren noise for about 10 secs, asked the dealer and they said it's probably a secondary air pump. Any ideas on what this is, and the cost?? thanks

Default If you have a Tip, and it comes on, runs up to 30 sec' or so. Then Yes. Haven't had
to replace mine yet, but my Warrantee covers it, so I'm not sure of cost.

Default similar issues for me.
With the windows down, come to a stop sign. Do you hear the "whining" or "siren" noise cease as the car comes to a complete stop?

Because a 6 sp doesn't have a secondary air pump :-)

Mine started doing it a month ago, yesterday I took it out & lubed it, still making noise

No idea. Audi just wanted to add weight to the Tip, so the 6sp guys have a chance ;p

...but it was RPM sensitive, and it fortold the end of my driver's side K04.
