Default Skip Barber driving/racing school...

Anyone tried this school? Closest one to me is Road America in Wisconsin.

Probably just gonna do the 2-day driving school, not into racing yet.

Default Everyone i ever talked to swears by it. Question how long do i wait before going?

I will be learning stick in 4 weeks when i pick up my s4, how long after driving it should i go to skip barber? this summer? next? do i want to start good habits before bad ones start? Can i rely on my competant (performance) friends to show me the good habits and wait a year for skip? thanks for any advice.

Default Go to it! My dad enrolled me at Skip Barber 2 day driving school when I was 17,

and just got my license. Best thing he ever did.

Of course, back then, they weren't using Dodge Neons, but they were using the E30 M3's.

Is the 2 day really worth twice the price to me?

Default Depending on my cashflow, I'm halfway planning on doing it sometime this summer/fall...

What time frame are you thinking of?

Default Re: Best investment in Performance that you will ever make

Eric,

In what ways would you say that the barber school is better than getting instruction at a quattro club event? Are there things that I would learn from there that I couldn't learn from an instructor at a quattro club event? You can email me directly if you'd like. Thanks.

Default Probably in summer

Can't do it between August - November (work project deadline).

Summer would work, if its on a weekend.

We need a MI S4 get-together soon (if it ever stop raining)
