I'm not sure as to the cause, but a few of my friends called me about 10 minutes ago to inform me that my S4 had a busted rear back window, with two round holes in it, with the remainder of the glass all cracked but in place.

Now I am not sure what caused the break, and no one in the area heard or saw anything. (Figures.)

I have been parking my car in this spot for years, and never had any issues with broken glass, or any attempted break-ins... (I figure someone would get through the front door or front window if they wanted access to my car anyway.)

I just wanted to know how much a rear windshield costs for a 2000 S4, before I contact my dealer (glass isn't warrantied, right?) as I need to replace it ASAP, without intervention of my insurance co.

Don't know the cost, but would definately not be warrantied.

Had my front replaced and asked the guy what the back would be out of curiousity, he said 1g (sorry)
