Snow pack in wheel wells and elsewhere

Like many of us in the Northeast, last night I took the S out for it's first real fun blast in "6-"8 of snow. MM Spyders, Dunlop M2s, 225/45/17. Awesome... as someone once described, like a video game, very predictable, very controllable, I was impressed.
Now the problem is I come home and every single crevice is packed to the gills with snow - like someone styrofoamed the car from the bottom leaving just a "1/4 clearance around the tires. Before I pull into my garage, I spend a few minutes with a broom and knock and sweep off the undercarriage as much as I can. Inside, however, the warmth starts melting the rest and my garage is turning into a pond. For the next 10-15 mins, I poke around the wheel wells, rims and undercarriage and literally fill a 5 gallon bucket with more salty/sandy snow.
I know there are garage mats for like 200$+ but you still gotta drain all the water. Anyone try a Teflon spray in the wheel wells or maybe even Spam? Any other creative solutions? Going through this cleaning ritual almost makes it worth just staying home in the first place.

I suppose you could go for something like this if you desired - not sure on price...
Look at the Porsche - it has a plastic/rubber "carpet" with raised edges. They are installing a clear bra, and in doing so spray the car/bra with a lot of water, and thus the need for this.

you pull them into the driveway and hose them down. I personally haven't seen the need for it as the water evaporates quickly enough. Maybe once I put down the epoxy floor in the spring, I'll consider them.
