So I read the description for Snub Mount:
"APR's Snub Mount Upgrade replaces the front engine mount on the car. This mount enhances upshifting and downshifting, reduces driveline shock, and helps power transfer by taking up excess drivetrain slack."
What does this mean in driveability terms...I read a post saying that it made a huge difference however I'm curious how?
Also same questions for the DTS....
I guess I just don't notice a huge deficiency so far...maybe because I haven't ever driven one installed![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Any downsides? Vibration?

Snub mount makes a little difference, DTS more. With both the transmission feels much less sloppy, visably the stick doesn't dance as much-- but everything just feels tighter.
It is good.
It is good.

For me it took out all the shuddering at low RPMs...like putting through a parking lot...the tranny is just solid. I really can't say whether or not it helped with high speed shifting though. Since I installed the snub mount, I really can't notice anything it did. I would suggest just running the DTS, but if you really want to try the snub, wait until you have some major work done...ie timing belt or something where the front bumper is off the car. It's an easy install that way...if you don't have any work coming up, don't even bother with it.
