Cup-a-Chow

Couple cars in the 11's. My friend Dan left WAY earlier cuz he got hassled twice for not having a cage... Couple 12.1's (even 6 speeds, not just the TC'd autos!) and actually I think there were more f-bods in the 12's than 13's this time around. Very few guys still running 13's now. Even Brandon / Denise ran a 12.87 in their stock TA before they blew out the rear.

Maybe I can really fry the clutch and finally get it done under warranty. It's not slipping under normal conditions (a.k.a. not launching at 6k) so I know the dealership won't replace it yet... Gotta bring it in on a tow truck, that might just work.

Thanks for the race gas man!!! Didn't seem to help me a WHOLE lot but probably helped out a bit. MPH was pretty close to last time as were the E.T.s of course. Anyway, I'll still probably get a bit next time too so I can have better than 91 oct. gas. Just peace of mind...

Now time for some DP's and beat out some chipped boys with my "stock" car.

I lost MPH short shifting 3rd to 4th. I get the best results just holding out 3rd and I smack the limiter right after the finish. Shifting to 4th kinda wastes time IMHO with a stock chipped car. Leave it in 3rd and run the other two gears to redline and it seems to get the best results for me...

FWIW to those guys running stock chips...
