So besides K04s, what other turbo upgrades are available? and what about ball bearings?

T-25s and T-28s
Ball bearings help the life of the turbo. But remember that turbos die after a couple of years, so we'll all probably be replacing after a while anyway. Hopefully we can get them done before the warranty expires.

Well
if you are not overboosting your turbo then that may be true. But most people on this board are really pushing the limits of these little turbos. Even with proper warm-ups, cool-downs, and synth oil, I don't think us pushing the limits of the these turbos will help them live longer.
Anyway, this is just my opinion. I've blown many a turbo before, sucks. Maybe it's just me
