So, brand names aside, we need 75w x 90 gl4/gl5 transmission fluid, yes? Any other requirements?

I see

Motul
Redline
Royal Purple

someone wrote about Mobile1, but I am having trouble getting more info, other than it is used by Stasis.

I'm going on a scouting trip to see which, if any, autostores near me carry any brands I can/should use.

Thanks.

Default I've seen them recommend it here, and I read someone else say they use it in their own race cars.

Having STFA, the Motul looks to have the better viscosity for smooth shiftin.

Default AFter stfa a bit more, the mobile 1 may be for rear differential. Mobile's website says nothing

about any transmission oil for our cars, as far as I've found thus far.

Still a work in progress.

Default That's one of the reasons I started looking around. rhd shows gl5/gl6

and some posters have written to not use gl6.

Other posters rave about the rhd.

Some posters are talking about rear diff and other write about tranny fluid in the same post, so I'm trying to get an understanding.

rhd appears to be highly regarded in the rear diff.

Some fluids can be used in both, others should only be used in 1.

I'm working through it.

Default what about that full synthetic lucas product,i see it at autozone in a case with wheels that you...

turn the handle and it travels all the way up to the top gear.you think that will be good in a manual tranny?
