So, do our cars have a diversity antenna installed from the factory?

Audi antenna/reception parts to hook it up. You need 4 Audi multi-band transcevers and a different diversity switch for them. The transceivers cost $79 each and the switch was $280 in 2002. I have the part numbers here somewhere if you need them. Dan Gold(TVWiz) bought all this stuff for his car... Dan mentioned you had to change the transceiver wiring harness(or gender change the existing one) as well. Lot of trouble/$$$ just for TV reception thats questionable at best while moving.
If I get stuck in traffic I can whip out my little expandable antenna and lay it on the dash to watch the news/cartoons/soaps haha. Don't use the tuner much tbo. Mostly for music DVD usage.
