So, how much horsepower does a stock S4 *really* have?

Re: I ran it on a bunch of cars, including the Scoobie WRX and the 330xi...very close in all cases.
ADRENALINE MOTORSPORTS tested a wrx on the same dyno and it was puting 167hp to the wheels.

A few facts:
1) there are production differences for all cars. All S4's will not have the same dyno results as yours. maybe your S4 is weaker than others. I can promise you that in no car ever produced has each and every car to go out the door had the same HP; some are hot, some are not, and some are average.
2) there have been other dyno tests posted on this forum of stock S4's with higher levels than you obtained, and which all indicated more than 250 stock HP.
3) dynos must be calibrated every so often. perhaps the one you ran on was out of cal...
Lots of factors here that you aren't taking into account...if you want to argue, write up Road and Track and tell them their formula is full of ****. I'm just posting numbers; don't shoot the messenger.

So, what are you saying? That the people who've dyno'd their stock S4's at > 250 HP are lying?
What's your point? Have you considered production differences?? Do you even know that there *are* production differences on cars? Each and every S4 will NOT have the same HP.

...and other people with WRX's have gotten lower numbers than this. Ever hear of production
differences? People have, on this forum, posted dyno results for S4's which indicated over 250 hp stock. Are they lying?
