Default So... I just happend to check for DTC's tonight... and I had an o2 sensor DTC...
B2, S1.

Intermintent.

While I didn't have a CEL, does this mean my O2 sensor is on it's way out?

Yep... I just had both of mine replaced under warranty from similar codes.

Default Nope...I just had recurring DTC's pop up on my VAG-COM every couple weeks....(m)
and, not that you shouldn't consider replacing it, but I didn't notice any performance or gas mileage difference (both of which I expected to see, if only slightly) after they were replaced. IIRC, the code just means that the O2 sensor's heating element is on its way out, not too big of a deal. I would change it soon though, because (if it does fail completely) it could ruin you cats over time.

Which code exactly. Clear it if it is indeed intermittent and then do something if it returns.
