Default So, I put on my new (to me) Eibach Pro System yesterday. Quick question regarding sway bar:

I followed the tech article on how to do coilovers. Very good and easy. Total time: 7.5 hours. I actually had a harder time with the rears. Fronts took about 3 hours total, and I even changed out my upper right CAs.

Anyway, I see there is a different write up for shock/spring where the guy took off the sway bar.

I didn't do that.

Is that a problem?

I'm guessing "no" since the coilover write up didn't require it, but I thought I'd ask just in case the thing is under new stress or whatever.

And, with my new ride height, I've only scraped once coming out of my driveway.

I just read that you should disconnect the swaybar during install and adjustment then reconnect.

Default No need. I've done it 3x with B5s with no issues. Never took mine off.

How does she sit? Glad to hear you've got them on. That setup had great ride quality for me.

Default It sits where I want it to. My wife even said "cool".

But, you're right. It will take some serious careful driving until I get used to it (avoiding speed bumps, steep driveways, etc.) Also, my 3" exhaust is a bit lower than stock, so that adds an element of complication. No problem, though. Just can't be as care-free.

I've only driven around 7 miles so far, and I do like the ride. I can tell it's stiffer, but it's not so stiff as to wear me out.

Sweet deal, man. Thanks!

I've read 3 write ups and only 1 says to undo the sway bar. I'll likely just keep it in there until I get a new one.

Good stuff. Just remember to take angles at anything questionable.=speedbumps, steep inclines, etc.
