So I refurbished my MAF.

Well not really. I did however buy a new one. After taking off my old one I decided to just clean it and hopefully return the new one. After taking it off I put it into a freezer zip lock baggie (actually two, the first leaked) filled with a bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol, shook for about two minutes. I then let it sit for about five more, emptied bag, washed out MAF with water, then put back into the car. Took it out for a test run... all is fine. Ran VAG later that night to see if I was still getting the "Bank 2 running lean" code. Nope. I know others have spoke of this, but I figured I would let everyone know (that still run a MAF) they could stretch the life of your MAF a little bit. That is all for now....

i am getting repeated lean codes as well and one of the causes im investigating is the MAF.
you cleaned it by putting it in rubbing alcohol?

probably the same code as you are. "Bank 2 Lean"? And then the CEL would come on. If so, try what I suggested and I have a feeling that code will be gone. I also was losing boost every once in a while. So far I am back at full boost and now problems what so ever. Probably shouldn't say that. Car is parked close and will prove me wrong when I leave work...
