Default So I've rubbed off the rubber tacky gunk on the bottom side of the underbody...

If you've seen my Autobahn video, you've seen I park my car on a ramp/elevator type aparatus. My car is not stupid low (25.25), but it does scrape the lower parts of the underbody at times. In one section about 5 inches long and 0.25 inches wide, I've rubbed the rubber/tar coating off down to the bare metal.

Any suggestions on how to seal it back up again? Is this gunk available at the dealer? I was thinking paint on bedliner stuff would be perfect...except we don't have pickups in Germany. :-P

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

^^^^This is what I did. Works great, easy to apply (especially with a lift!)

Default Is the stuff you used compatible with the factory undercoating? Some of mine is worn off due to so

much time on the dealer's lift. Thought I read somewhere to be careful what type you use as the wrong stuff can destroy the factory coating. It seems the rubberized should be the right stuff; I just want to be sure. TIA for any help you can provide!
