so jack the car up while its running and have someone give it gas while i am

underneath listening for the noise????? Cuz the car has to be moving for it to make the noise

Well, that sounds like the best way to find the noise....might also be....

the best way to end your life. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE triple protection (holding the car up, that is)
