Default so.. new suspension time..

my H&r ultra's are gone.. and too expensive to replace just one (second owner) so its time to get new suspension..

I have about $1000 to spend...

My choices are down to Stasis StreetSports or Tein SS. Both will run me about $1k.

Besides the typical comments of XX is the ultimate.. what are the reasons behind such? have already done some STFA, but would like to get some new comments.

Oh, and if any tuners are about, send me an email cuz I have cash in hand and will be purchasing in a day or so.. so I want something in stock.

Default Do you really need coilovers? Eibach Pro Kit (spring/shock ) or Pro Street (coilover but 1200)....

this is based on comparing everything BUT the TEIN coilover and the Vogtland coilover on the S4.

Default Go StaSiS and call Achtuning...I'm biased, however :0P. Serriously...

I'm not sure if you will get as much feedback on Tein as you will StaSiS.

Give Achtuning a ring if you go with StaSiS - if Skyler is on the horn he will hook you up. I've been very happy with my set-up. Again, my biased opinion.

How is the ride on the Pro Streets. Is it a compliant ride or more of a firm ride?

Default

it's more compliant then H&R or Bilstein, a little less then a KONI, but not bad at all...

Default Put the money in a savings account and keep saving:)

I would save your money up and get something you can adjust. I find myself adjusting them softer for commuting to work and long trips. I'll turn them a few clicks stiffer for spirited weekend driving. Either way, good luck with your decision.

Default have you tried the Penske's yet? i'm curious to know how

you compare them to the Stasis Ohlin's. I know Eric F. thinks they're the best.

Default i have not, and most people don't like to "loan" out stuff worth many thousands of dollars...

...I hope to be able to get a set on my car for a little while and do a track event so I can get a good opinion.

Maybe Tomasz (or someone else) will "rent" me his set for a bit to try out. Somehow I doubt that.

Eric F. was at Pahrump while I was there, but we were in the same run group. So I was itching to go for a ride in his car, but not at the expense of my own laps. It'll happen eventually though I'm sure.

Default I'm still confused as to where to get the Eibach Pro-Kit. I searched Tire Rack, and it was very...

confusing.
