So, some jacka$$ tried stealing my headlights today

I just wanted your opinions too. How much do hoods and headlight (just one) cost. Do you think the hood is repairable? Basically they put a screwdriver against the hood and headlightand they broke the glass, so they just took the blinker bulb and left.

Also, if I want to report this to insurance, not sure yet, can I drive the car? Obviously driving the car will make all the broken pieces fall out? Is this ok? And with the wind, do I have to tape up the headlight or can I just drive with it broken. Go through insurance, you were no where near the vehicle at the time

so you are not held accountable (as in they dont count the claim against you) It will take some time to do, and in the meantime, if I dunno somehow the other one finds to vandalized also they will have to give you enough money for 2 headlights.
