Default are you F*cking kidding me????

split the cost? you mean he should be paid back the cost plus split the cost of labor at least right? I hope so, everyone and their mother knows if he went with OEM K04s right now his car would be faster and more reliable.

Default That is aweful ......

I think that in a situation such as this that someone needs to step up... it is never easy but this is the risk of being in business. **** happens and I have had to write a check for $3900 to make a customer whole because it was the right thing to do. I will do all the business in the world and refer everyone I know to a company who stands behind their product and does the right thing. If you do, it comes back to you (as a business owner) ten fold... if you don't it can have the absolute opposite effect.

Just my thoughts on the subject... I hope it works out for you in the end. Good luck.

Default At this point -- i would even settle for a set of NEW not molested K04's...

This failure underscores the poor workmanship that goes into these hybrids and the lack of any kind of quality control. I understand that Jacob is a one man shop. I took it easy when the last set blew when he explained that he had a bad batch of cartriges come in. Back then I thought that this kind of stuff can happen to anyone. Now this failure today shows to me two things -- 1. There is no way you can cause this failure via installer error. It is clearly a defect in the workmanship. 2. Jacob either overmachined the housing or didn't put the gasket in well. The result is -- back to square one.

I just hope that he finally does the right thing. To me the right thing would be either a refund of the complete purchase price or if I got another set of working hybrids and Jacob covered the install. I'd be surprised if he did any of those, however. I honestly think that most i can expect is a set of new K04's out of him and even that's a maybe.

This ladies and gentlemen, this is what you get for going with a small outfit. I tried giving Jacob every benefit of the doubt -- but the situation i'm in is just unacceptable.
