well finally got the head off, turns out i floated a valve, middle intake valve nicked the piston, guess i downshifted too hard as this does not seem to be a common problem on the b5 S4, just my luck as usual lol o well.... wanna play you gotta pay right?
anyone do this on a b5 s4?
oh and no blown turbos i can see, smoke was from the damaged seat/valve/guide as far as i can tell.
guess i might just swap the whole head out rather than risk having a weak seat or stem guide / spring, sigh.
