the engine with the ECU removed for 3-5 minutes. Does that sound right?

Does the starter spin the engine fast enough for the oil pump to prime the system?

Definitely pre-oil. Did you get the turbos from Beuhn? He ships with pre-oil instructions.

By pre oil do you mean crank the engine over for a while, or pour oil through before install?

I don't have the specifics onhand, but I believe it calls for cranking the motor a few times.

I take the fuel pump fuse out every time I change the oil, then crank it for a few seconds.

Both...fill inlet tubes and crank with ECU out
