Default As long as the tuning is good and the motor isn't overrevved, I think we'll see 550-600whp

Before we see a failure. Remember that some cars have blown engines, but all due to detonation at high RPM on the dyno (at least, the ones I heard about) from bad tuning/tweaking, and all at lower power levels than we are currently seeing people consistently put out these days.

To me, that (plus the fact that we already have forged internals and a relatively low redline) is an indication that the motors are robust, but people have abused them to cause them to fail.

Default chp!? You sure you don't want to revise that...

considering most K04 hybrid and GT guys are there already...

Default We're also working with what can fit in our engine bays. If you could slap some big *** turbos on..

our engine, I bet it could make some serious power!

The 2-JZ-GTE motor that came in the Mark IV Supra can go from 320 Crank HP to 750 crank HP buy just upgrading the the turbos. It cost them $15k from HKS, but it's also 750 hp. You add some HKS 264 cams and you've got another 100 hp. There are more than a couple of those running 1000 whp. But they can fit all that **** under the hood, we can't!

EDIT**Woops, meant to post this under the video link.

Default yeah, but the power curve would be as flat as a pre-pubescent teen's chest until 6k RPM where

there'd be a big **** star boner of horsepower.

1.35L of displacement driving each turbo ain't a lot.

Default You are very correct, but it's still crazy *** horepower!!! ***Edit, changed the link to the site

This is from to4r.com, a site that only allows 700hp + Supras. Check it out. There are some pretty serious contenders on there!!

http://to4r.com/to4r.php</a

Default Projekt GT25R is at an estimated 635 CHP....

He did over 490-wheel on a Mustang, and that was on pump gas, so I think its safe to say 650+ is possible on stock internals

Default no, because he said max "safe power"...which is about near 500 whp, i believe Mike2K believes so as

well. You could get more...but would you feel comfortable? *shrugs*
