Was just rear ended at a stop light....again! This time the guys front plate screws took big gouges out of the bumper cover and lower valence.
Also, has anyone ever dealt with Geico adjusters? I don't want a damn caveman fixing my car ;-(

If they dont have to replace the absorbers and its just a plug and play bumper paint and install, I would figure Im not so far off.

i'm having this done right now at a dealer owned shop.

Rear Bumper cover = $519.62 8D5807303BGRU
Labor = 1.6 hours
Refinishing Labor = 2.3 surface and .5 Two stage.

They also added in a flex additive at $8

So (refishing labor rate @ $42) * (2.8 hrs) = $117.60
+ (Labor rate to pull $42) * (1.6 hrs) = $67.2
+ (8$ felx add)
= $192.80

I cant comment on paint supplies becuase i was having more work done so they lumped that all together as $170 (Painting my whole D pillar and quarter panel.)

But from what the dealer charges you're lookin at around $712 plus the acutal paint supplies to prob make it about $760.

But alas that is from an insurance going through a dealer and we all know how it works at the stealership.

Hope that gives you an idea though.



*This is just for the cover NOT the valence. Mine was just smudged up so they are refinishing it, not replacing it. I can give you some painting numbers on that but not the cost of a new one.
