So, what's a good price to install coilovers? The first quote was $400. Waiting for a couple more.

The prices were all over the board in the archives. I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but not without a REAL good spring compresser, and without air tools, it would be a real bitch.

Default depends on the kit, Tracksports and Motorsports take extra labor . . .

I think we charged $550-$600 for TS when I was @ STaSIS . . .

Custom Motorsports done "properly" about 6-8 hours . . .

Default Depends on where you are. If you are in so cal, go to JC Auto in Temple City...

He only charged me $300 for installation PLUS alignment! These are Stasis ohlin motorsport coilovers we are talkin about. They require more time to instsall because you gota mount the resevior and such. That guy really took his time to make sure he installed them correctly and alignment specs are perfect!

Default Is that where he's at?

I don't think there are any good shops in that area. I might consider DIY or make the drive to ECS and let them do the install (3 hours away I think).

Default $300 is generally what you'll find.

No alignment included.

As Jeff mentioned...certain kits will take a little extra time if they require any customization on the car.

Yes, Cincinnati. They are simple Vogtland C/O's.

Default I got raped at $600.

Was the only mod I had done by a shop. What was salt in the wounds was the guy wanted another $300 to readjust them after they settled. Needless to say I adjusted them myself and have never been back to that shop.
